I have a feeling it's going to be an interesting month considering I have most of my weekends planned out already...which is weird.
Nick's baptism and Macbeth today, next weekend the Allen Park Street Fair and then pet fest in Ann Arbor, the following weekend is the zoo and the weekend after I'm hoping to convince someone to go on a short road trip (anyone available on the 21st-23rd?? Chicago maybe??) so as of right now my weekends seem a bit crazy and I still have to use those CiCi's gift cards!

shouldn't the question be more along the lines of which vampire universe would you most like to belong to??? I mean every writer has a different take and view on what it's like to be a vampire. I think I would go with L.J. Smith's universe. Were the vamps can still be in daylight and don't turn sparkly or anything...

As far as things to do around here there isn't much. I tend to show off my cats if they are willing to come out of hiding to anyone who comes out. And I guess Greenfield Village is nice. The lakes are always nice too...but really life's sort of boring here.

I'm not really sure what religion I am to tell the truth. I respect others beliefs and find it interesting to learn about other religions. I wouldn't really categorize myself as falling completely into any one religion. Guess I'm just weird like that.

Forests at night. Another reason I will not go camping. I don't like being out in the open when I sleep and well I've seen way too many horror movies.
My sister's basement in her old house used to seriously creep me out too. It had a cistern and a dirt floor. I kept thinking something would pop out of the cistern and hands would reach up and grab me through the dirt floor. *shivers* It was not a fun basement.

I kind of did it this year. Went to the beach. Laid out. Had drinks brought to us. Read a book and just relaxed in general. And a city just 20 minutes away to explore. It was heaven.

Crazy question wondering if anyone on my flist may have any idea how to do this. I picked up some beaded curtains for my closet. I wanted to hang beads up as a closet door in my spare room. Anyone have any idea how to go about this?? Should I hang a curtain rod or just nail the top part to the top part of the closet. The room didn't have a closet door when we purchased the house....

If you think the auto industry going under is just going to affect the Big 3..you are wrong. First off I want to point out that this is NOT a bailout they are requesting. Unlike the banks which we did BAILOUT they are requesting a LOAN. Secondly I want to point out that foreclosures will go up in Michigan, people without insurance will skyrocket, and this state as a whole will sink without the big 3. We CAN NOT allow them to fail.

American Gothic. This show had my whole family hooked night after night and then it just sort of ended.

My other pick would be Angel...the way it ended...well it really left you wondering.

I miss the theater. For some reason I find myself longing to go see The Phantom of the Opera again (this is my absolute favorite show to see), or to go out to Strattford to see one of the plays in the festival. If feels as if it has been ages since I have seen a production. Now I find myself missing the theater--the theater is so much different then going to the movies there is something to be said about live performances, and I miss seeing them on a regular basis. Maybe I'll find time to go see something soon.

of all the odd things to dream about--

Last night I dreamed my house was being attacked by rabid zombie raccoons. Yes you read that right raccoons. We had to grab them by their tails and throw them out the window avoiding getting bit cause if they bit you, you became a zombie.

I have bad eyesight. I’m a –8 in one eye and a –8.5 in the other. I recently went to optimeyes and had an eye exam. This was my first time there and I needed contacts. They told me the price of my eye exam included a trial pair of contacts. I received the trial pair and once they were deemed good I could pick up the box. Well because of my prescription they had to order a whole box and thus I was told was included as my “trial” pair. I called on Sat. to order new lenses. I was told they would be $165 I gave the girl my cc # and all was good. On Sun I went in to order new glasses due to mine being horribly scratched up. I wear them more often then not at work. On Mon. a girl called to tell me my contact lenses should last a full year and because of that they have to charge me full price of $90 per box for a total of $180 for all my contacts. I told her I would wait until Sept when I run out to buy new ones. Today I see a charge on my card for $265 from them. Completely confused I call to find out why. I am told that I never paid for my first box. I explained I was told I didn’t have to that they were a trial pair, not to mention the different prices I was quoted. Finally the girl I talked to offered to let me have said trial pair for $180 instead of $265.

1. They were not authorized to charge me for said trial pair to begin with…I don’t see how they can legally
2. I really wonder if I can cancel my order for new glasses. I don’t want to give this company any more money.
